The “Agri Hub” project is part of Eni initiatives on circular economy and sustainable agriculture aiming to develop biofuels and bio-feedstock industry in the Republic of Angola and support the Country to reach its decarbonization target and the development of its agricultural sector with sustainable oil crops cultivations. The construction of agricultural hubs (called Agri Hubs), consisting in plants for oil extraction from oilseeds is a fundamental step of this agricultural sector development.
The Luanda Agri Hub to be started up in the Country within 2024 is designed for a capacity equal to 30 000 ton/year of oil production.
The Agri-hub is designed with a modular approach, with the aim of ensuring a possible increase in the processing capacity of each unit, as well as replicability in different geographical areas of the country.
